Fretted clavichord, copy of the clavichord preserved in the Stockholm Music Museum, attribuited to the maker Gottlieb Rosenau (ca. 1772).
The original instrument’s tangents are positioned to produce tempered fifths of 698.5 cents. However, it was preferred to mount the tangents in a manner suitable for a Kirnberger III temperament.
An instrument with a more than satisfactory sound for public performances, it allows the performance of a vast repertoire.
The basic version includes an enamelled case (the color is chosen by the customer), boxwood and walnut key covers. Without legs and lid.
Further construction elements can be added to implement the basic model (lid according to the proposed typologies, natural wood finish, legs and support).
Also useful are the music stand and the carrying bag, made with handles and shoulder strap.
